Saw an excellent documentary on UK Channel 4 Television last night. Well known TV Chef and presenter Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall is fronting a campaign to address the way fishing is regulated in EU waters. During the program he went afloat with fisherman and witnessed the immoral dumping of huge amounts of fish (also premium quality food) due to the current quota system that causes this to happen once quota limits have been reached. As Hugh says if this were lambs piled high on the side of the road there would be uproar but at sea its out of sight and out of mind, well its not anymore.
